Welcome to an index page with links to pages with info on Portugal and places we have visited. Most of these pages have info written by us from our travel and pictures we have taken. In some cases there are links to websites done by others that contains good general information on the topic. Portugal has several regions as are identified by the map below and we have listed the places based on these areas. Most people are familiar with the southern “Algarve” area and with Lisbon. There are many other interesting towns in Portugal in other Regions, such as the “Alentejo”, the “Silver Coast”, the Porto Area (including the Douro Valley and Northern Portugal. There are also the archipelago islands of Portugal - “Madeira” and “The Azores” as well.
