Day 36 Albufeira Seafest Day
Today the weather was mostly sunny and a high of 22C.
This day we took a morning walk down to Olhos Beach and then over to Maria Luisa Beach.
You will see in the first couple of pics that the tide is way out this morning, making great for a walk along the beach.
In the afternoon we went into Albufeira and checked out an event that was taking place there called Seafest. It was an event in the old town and beach area of Albufeira. It had lots of activities for kids, bouncy castles, skateboard exhibitions, a music stage with entertainment and it was supposed to have surfing, only this afternoon the wind was up and waves were a big to tricky for surfing. Anyways, some pictures of the sights of the day below.

| David & David in front of David’s (Portugal) Bar! |
David from Portugal has owned this bar for 24 years. He gave up drinking a long time ago, and just watches the drinkers enjoying the beverages now. He is very friendly and chats with us each time we visit, despite not being overly proficient in english. The bar is on a relatively quiet street that leads to the old town area of Albufeira. There is a view of the ocean off in the distance from the sidewalk in front of the bar. A large beer is 2.5 Euros here and David points out this probably the best price in town! He has often given us free chips to munch on and even given us free shots from the bar a few times. We first visited this bar in 2010 as it was on the walking route from our condo rental to the old town area. We have been back many times since on our subsequent trips to Portugal and Albufeira.
