Weather today was cool in the morning and evening but got nice at times with sun and clouds, light breeze, high of 21C.
Today we decided to take a break from going anywhere and headed to the town beach here in Sao Martinho do Porto. The morning was enjoyed by a walk along the promenade that surrounds the perimeter of the shell shaped beach. The sun was warm and very comfortable for walking. Hung out at the beach, then went for a bica (expresso). This time was with milk and cost at 2.60 euros. Back to the condo for lunch of open faced tuna sandwiches with salad with local avocado. Delicious. After lunch it was a trip back to Salgado Beach to watch the enormous waves that can be seen there. Not as big of waves that we saw the previous time, but still pretty impressive. Made a stop at the China store…then back home to the condo for sunset.
